launches its spring summer season 2009'
collection.
This prêt range is for those who
need wardrobe versatility in their everyday
semi formal-to-formal clothing. A series
of bright summery colors and prints give
each garment a unique touch. Anita under
this label creates separates that are
international in appeal and can be coordinated
or dressed up or down to suit the wearer.
Prices range from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 5000/-.
The season is introduced with four distinctive
collections.
EARTHY HUES: (Collection 1)
Minute detailing and surface ornamentations
is the main facet of this collection.
Feminine, pure and fancy free- each garment
is a piece of fine work with added texture
and drama. Especially woven- lightweight
mul in its natural color has been used,
making a subtle statement, which is perfect
for the coming summer.
SUNSHINE: (Collection 2)
In celebration of a new beginning, the
color that dominates this collection is
'yellow'. With a young and spirited approach,
the collection consists of dresses and
tops made in white linen fabric. The garments
are bright and cheerful with floral embroidery
enhancing each silhouette.
INDIAN KARMA: (Collection 3)
This collection is a priced group of colorful
ethnic tunics & tops made from cotton
georgette fabric specially block printed
in Rajasthan. The riots of colours compliment
each other beautifully, giving the garments
a very contemporary yet stylish look.
They are perfect to team with a skinny
pair of denims or cool linen pants
in summer.
CLASSIC LINENS: (Collection 4)
'Rich, Classic and Elegant'; a style that
is synonymous with Anita Dongre is a perfect
description for this collection. The tunics
have an Indian touch, which is wearable
and chic. A color palette of light pastels
like pink, blue, lilac and the timeless
white give this collection a silent, understated
yet charming outlook.
