This dress is a labour of love, handcrafted by women artisans in the comfort of their home and at their own pace in a remote village of India. Bandhani, the traditional art of tie-dye, is worked on by women artisans who tie thousands of tiny tight knots in fabric, which is then dyed at a central dyeing unit in the village. The result – mesmerising patterns in rich hues.
Tying and dying the fabric takes 45 to 60 days. This dress travels a total of 550 miles from a remote village to our eco-friendly design headquarters in Mumbai. This truly is slow fashion.
Lightweight, regular fit, knee length, full sleeves with tie-up detailing on the neckline
