This dress is a labour of love, handwoven by traditional artisans in the comfort of their home and at their own pace in a remote village of India. This type of fabric is woven with locally sourced cotton yarn. It is an heirloom craft passed down through generations and requires extensive practise.
The fabric takes around 45 days to be handwoven on a traditional handloom. This dress travels a total of 1200 miles from a remote village to our eco-friendly design headquarters in Mumbai. This truly is slow fashion.
Lightweight, regular fit, knee length, 3/4th sleeves with a pleated drop waist and tassel detailing on the neckline.
