This scarf is a labour of love, handwoven by traditional artisans in the comfort of their home and at their own pace in a remote village of India. Beautiful patterns are carefully added to the fabric, one thread at a time, by hand onto the loom, creating one of the finest and most delicate fabrics. Handwoven Jamdani is an heirloom craft passed down through generations and requires extensive practise.
The fabric takes 30 to 45 days to be handwoven on a traditional handloom. Local artisans then further embellish the fabric. This scarf travels a total of 1200 miles from a remote village to our eco-friendly design headquarters in Mumbai. This truly is slow fashion.
Lightweight with tasselled edges.
